My Favorite Books of 2019

“Reading a good book is like taking a journey.”  Emma Gulliford

I love looking back at my reading year and to see what books stood out and knocked my socks off.    During the reading year, I typically look at the books I have recommended based on personal experience and the ones I most often sent to clients and friends.

The process of actually choosing favorites is no easy task, but enjoyable to look back to see which I would read again.  I read 126 books in 2019 and narrowed it down to the following 35 that I would definitely re-read.    As I look over the years, my interest in audio books has increased and listened to 11 this year, but actually read more books overall (not including all the CPE books required for work) than 2018.
